We are looking for a Veeva Technical Architect who specializes in designing, implementing, and managing technical solutions within the Veeva CRM applications on the Salesforce platform. By leveraging the latest Salesforce and Veeva technologies you will help our clients surf the wave of digital transformation.

Your role

As a Veeva Technical Architect at Waeg, an IBM Company, you will be responsible in entirety for the projects technical architecture landscape and roadmap, ensuring that the definition and design of complex, technical solutions are aligned with the clients needs. Your responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, test and deploy high quality technical solutions based on Veeva CRM platform.

  • Take ownership of putting in place secure, robust and scalable architectures on the Veeva platform

  • Configure and customize the Veeva platform to meet specific business needs.

  • Plan and execute data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading into the Veeva platform.

  • Serve as the Veeva CRM technical subject matter expert

  • Lead all technical tracks on large scale, complex projects

  • Reduce the overall project technical risk by discovering any design issues early on in the project

  • Become a role model to developers on the project, advising customers on architectural and technical development best practices during workshops and during the project Develop and manage integrations between Veeva and other enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, or data warehouses. This involves utilizing Veeva APIs and other integration tools to enable data flow and process automation.

  • Document all best technical practices and operational procedures in accordance with Waeg, an IBM Company, guidelines

  • Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionalities across the Veeva CRM product suite

  • Identify when business requirements conflict with the technical capabilities of the Veeva platform and advise on the best solution

You will be in constant communication and collaboration with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions as well facilitate continuous improvement within the environment. You will take time to research and keep current on Veeva and force.com technologies and communicate trends and future needs from a business perspective.

Your skills

In order to be successful in our team we expect you to bring 5+ years of experience with Veeva CRM solutions in a technical capacity (Senior Developer, Technical lead, Technical Architect) with at least one Salesforce certification focused on development, preferable Salesforce Health Cloud certification and certified technical architect.

  • Current Veeva Certifed Administrator credential and current Veeva Multichannel Certified Administrator credential (minimum)

  • Knowledge of Veeva and Salesforce Best Practices using Apex and Visualforce Ideally, knowledge of the complete Veeva Suite, including Veeva Vault and Network solutions and AWS platform

  • Knowledge of Salesforce Integration Patterns

  • Multiple technical project deployments including release and environment management Working knowledge of security concepts such as single sign on and data security

  • Extensive experience in Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methods

  • Integration experience using both Web based technologies (Soap, Rest) and Integration/Middleware tool

You also have excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environments. You are able to speak and write English fluently, and you can produce high quality technical documentation and analysis. You can work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and minimal supervision, on multiple tasks and deliver quality products. You are comfortable working with both waterfall and agile methodologies and had exposure across the full delivery life-cycle.
