We are looking for a Head of Marketing & Communication with an enthusiastic mindset who can oversee all market and communications activities of Waeg, an IBM Company while keeping an eye on the industry best practices as well as business needs. Moreover, the Head of Marketing will be focusing on developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies that support the organisation's objectives and enhance its brand image and presence in the market. 

Your Role

As a Head of Marketing & Communication, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies that align with Waeg’s objectives. 

  • Researching market trends and target audience and identifying key channels and tactics.

  • Determining and managing budget and resources in alignment with various stakeholders. 

  • Ownership of the roll-out of the marketing and communications strategy. 

  • Managing the marketing and communications team by providing guidance, training and support. 

  • Brand management to maintain and enhance Waeg’s brand identity. 

  • Digital marketing using various digital marketing channels and tools, and focus on its performance marketing. 

  • Event management and overseeing the execution of events with a focus on lead and demand generation actions, Salesforce sponsored events, webinars and internal events. 

  • Support with Sales enablement efforts from training, proposal support, alignment on lead and demand generation efforts for impact on pipeline as well as partner processes. 

Your Skills

In order to be successful in our team we expect you to bring 7+ years experience in Marketing and Communications and 2+ in a management role:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, journalism, public relations, or a related field. 

  • Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team, delegate tasks and and manage resources effectively. 

  • Skilled in budget management and strategic planning. 

  • Client-focused profile and great networking skills. 

  • Autonomous and a proactive approach .

  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication. 

  • Fluency in English and more languages are a plus. 

  • Experience in the Salesforce ecosystem and specifically in Marketing Cloud Account Engagement is a plus.
