IT Support Administrator

We are looking for an IT Support Administrator in Belgium who will be responsible for support the IT and access issues guaranteeing a great IT support experience for our employees. The IT Support Aministrator must ensure that that our IT tools are maintained and oversees the compliance with them.  This person will report to our Head of Finance and will work closely with various stakeholders.

Your role

As an IT Support Administrator, it is your responsibility to ensure the effective operation of our dedicated entities:

  • You will be responsible for ensuring all employees and staff have access to all relevant equipment and tools, and support Waegers with any IT issues they may be experiencing and give direction on the necessary actions that need to be taken to solve the problem.

  • You will work closely with IBM to ensure Waeg is compliant with IBM’s ITSS policies. 

  • You will assist with all Salesforce requests and necessary testing including and not limited to admin functions and purchasing of appropriate licenses. 

  • You will be responsible for the upkeep and continuation of all tools used including the purchase of new licenses. 

  • You will be responsible for ensuring an efficient way of working with Google, its applications and resolving any issues related to it. 

  • You will also guarantee that all travel arrangements are appropriate and take care of drafting forecasts for company travel expenses, including overseeing our fleet. 

  • You will work alongside Marketing & Communications to help organise company events and ensure event coordination runs as effectively as possible, and respect budgets. 

  • You will contribute to creating a great place to work so you’ll also ensure offices are in an adequate state, with all amenities needed for a comfortable work environment.

Your skills

In order to be successful in our team we expect you to bring at least 5+ years of working experience in a similar role(s), preferably in a fast paced and growing organization, and:

  • Graduate degree is appreciated;

  • Experience working with Google Suite, Salesforce and Atlassian tools;

  • Fair knowledge of Kimble would be a plus; 

  • High-level of professionalism and ability to liaise at all levels;

  • ¨Proactive and solution-oriented mindset;

  • Good attention to detail and high level of personal organization;

  • Great English skills, and produce high quality documentation;

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being able to handle diverse activities, projects and people at one time;

  • A willingness to learn and have an adaptable personality and are considered a good team-player with a mindset for service;

  • You can work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and minimal supervision, on multiple tasks and deliver quality;

  • A flexible mindset: You have the possibility to work from home but you are expected to be in the Brussels office when needed and minimum two days a week.
