We are looking for a Delivery Engagement Manager based in France to keep an overview and support the French Project Managers to carry out and manage high-quality project delivery to clients. The Delivery Engagement Manager will also be responsible for definition and standardization of the French Waeg, an IBM Company, project management framework.

Your role

As a Delivery Engagement Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Waeg’s methodologies and processes in order to achieve the desired outcome on client projects, using standardized frameworks and adjusting them to the French market whenever necessary.

You will be in charge of:

Definition and standardization of the Waeg, an IBM Company, French Project Management framework:

  • Accountable for the profitability of the French projects’ portfolio

  • Define and implement the Waeg’s project management framework for France in alignment with the Waeg global methodology;

  • Define and implement the Waeg’s Support management framework for France in alignment with the Waeg global methodology;

  • Create transparency around the French projects’ quality, margins and customer satisfaction while being accountable for the yearly targets;

  • Continuously build and improve process structures and definitions;

  • Act as a PM for French Projects whenever required

  • Liaise with the central Delivery Practice to ensure the Waeg guidelines are embedded in the French Project Management Team and global delivery targets align with the local ones

Support the French team of project managers:

  • Ensure project managers collate regular reports on all active projects;

  • Establish a defined process to ensure that there is regular communication between project managers;

  • Outline any Corrective or preventative actions on projects;

  • Provide Process training around the support, onboarding and induction of new Waegers;

  • Ensure PMs utilize correctly project management tools;

  • Support the Pre-sales team in the preparation of proposals and RFPs to French customers;

  • Provide process vision and strategy to support project managers on current projects;

  • Be responsible for the management of project managers, providing an oversight on their positions and understanding any points of improvement to ensure maximum job efficiency and satisfaction;

  • Take responsibility for Resource Forecasting and staffing needs;

Stakeholders management:

  • Manage major French customer Engagements during their lifecycle

  • Be the escalation point for project delivery issues

  • Participate in project Steercos and maintain the relationship with key customer stakeholders

  • Be in the lead for the contract renewal process of French customers;

You will be in constant communication and collaboration within our different stakeholders, such as: the Staffing team, the Head of Delivery & Operations, the Head of Sales in France and the French project managers, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of bespoke customer requests as well as facilitating continuous improvement.

Your skills

In order to be successful in our team we expect you to bring 5+ years of experience as a Delivery Engagement Manager, and have:

  • Degree in Management, IT, Engineering, or other relevant field

  • PMP, Scrum or similar certifications are a plus;

  • Good understanding of fixed price projects;

  • Good coaching skills & people management skills;

  • Good proposal preparation and/or negotiation skills;

  • Experience within the Salesforce Ecosystem;

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills;

  • Excellent analytical, statistics, and problem solving skills;

  • Great time & budget management skills;

  • Pragmatic & proactive mindset;

  • Process-minded approach;

  • Great stakeholder management.

You also have good interpersonal skills and communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment.

You are able to speak and write French and English fluently, and you can produce high quality documentation and analysis.

You can work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and minimal supervision, on multiple tasks and deliver quality products.

You are comfortable working with agile methodologies and had exposure across the full delivery life-cycle.
