We are looking for a Business Development Director who will direct the business development activities of Waeg, an IBM Company, and drive the sales activities. They play a key role in the company and in the generation of new business and manage existing customer relationships from a commercial perspective.
By leveraging the latest SFDC technology, you will help our clients surf the wave of digital transformation.
As a Business Development Director, you will:
Help to build and define Waeg, an IBM Company’s sales strategy in the assigned market.
Manage key relationships with Salesforce in order to keep a regular flow of prospects.
You will be responsible for defining and delivering sales targets discussed and set by Waeg, an IBM Company’s partners.
Take responsibility in managing clients, building rapport with them and helping to maintain long lasting relationships.
Be proactive in researching market trends and using this research to identify and execute new business opportunities.
Maintain the pipeline reporting for all sales prospects ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
Actively track the competitive landscape and competitor's activity to generate new sales opportunities.
Attend Salesforce-related events and networking opportunities to represent Waeg, an IBM Company, and build our profile within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Collaborating with Waeg, an IBM Company Client Directors and Managers to ensure a good understanding of current client projects.
A proactive approach to building strong relationships at multiple levels within the prospect, including third parties such as consultants and advisors.
Act as a thought leader and Waeg, an IBM Company brand ambassador, through speaking and publishing opportunities.
You must have a solid understanding of our customer's operations and a strong awareness of key industry issues and challenges relational to the industry the customer operates in.
Ensure that all contracts are negotiated profitably and in line with staffing demands.
In order to be successful in our team, we expect:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated track record of increasing revenue through the generation of leads.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Fluent in German and English.
A good understanding of Salesforce technologies.
Experience within the Salesforce ecosystem in a commercial role.
A strong network within the Salesforce ecosystem.
You also have good interpersonal skills and communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment.
